Kari matchett is a child of Spalding Saskatchewan. Later, she relocated to Alberta Canada and attended high school. Through her teens, she developed interest in acting. In order to continue her education in acting, she took a class at the 'National Theatre Academy,' in Montreal and later attended the Moscow Theatre School. The actress made her television debut in 1996, performing a role of support in the Canadian TV series titled 'The Rex. The following year, she appeared in a variety of shows, including "Forever Knight," and "Ready or not. The actress also had her first film role in the mid 1990s, by starring in a movie titled "Papertrail," and was later seen in films such as "Men with Brooms," and 'Cypher.' She also played the roles of a support in series' such as 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and the 'Blue Murder. While she continued acting in movies throughout in the 2000s, her movie appearances were fewer compared to her television roles.
