Meredith Salenger

Salenger was born and raised in Malibu, California. Salenger was a performer in the presence of her parents and close friends when she was a child. At the age of eight Her mother took her to her first class in acting. Her first performance was in a minor role as the 'orphan with a singing and dancing dance for the feature film Annie which was directed by John Huston. Salenger played a variety of TV ads. Salenger made her debut as a lead part in The Journey of Natty Gann, the Disney film starring John Cusack with Ray Wise. It was the first US film to be awarded the Gold Award at the Moscow Film Festival. Additionally, she was awarded "Best Female Actress in a drama" at the Youth in Film Awards in recognition of her role as the charming Natty. At the age of 18, she starred in another four films, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. After that she went to Harvard in order to pursue her studies. Meredith Meredith Meredith
