Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American model and actor who is best known as the actress of Mystique, the main character from the first of three segments of X-Men. Romijn was also a part of another Marvel superhero film called 'The Punisher where she played the role of the character 'Joan'. Romijn started her career as a professional model and was employed by companies such as Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. The modeling career she had lasted for a full 10 years. She then decided to focus her efforts on acting. Romijn's career in Hollywood isn't as successful as her career on TV. She was a character in the drama comedy "Ugly Betty," and later 'Jessie Nichols in NTSF:SD SUV.' She was a part of 'King and Maxwell" as well as The Librarians. She hosted the reality show about body painting Skin Wars and was featured in numerous projects, including video games, acting as an actor.
